Sheyla Mattos, Almiro Aquilino, and the BBAC community invite you to an afternoon and evening of Brazilian Carnaval fun at the Bahia Brazil Art Center in SE Portland.

Any children within your orbit can get their Brazilian move on with kids performance, a dance lesson and costume contest from 4pm to 6pm.

The adults take over the space from 8pm to midnight with food, drink, dancing and music. Somewhere in there you'll find the percussionists, dancers and singers of Bloco Alegria, helping you feel the pulses of Brazilian Carnaval. If your feet start moving of their own accord, do not worry. They will have the ample and lively company of all of their nearby foot friends.
